Bacon – Manito Geothermal Power Plant

Geothermal Plant Containing four Ormat Energy Converter (OEC) units as well as the necessary auxiliary to operate the plant, such as firefighting facilities, compressed air system and motive fluid system. The central building houses the plant’s control room, power station, battery, machinery and storage rooms. The power plant has a total capacity of 16.73 MW.

TCGI provided detailed design for civil, architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical including to pographic and geotechnical surveys; bid documents preparation; and construction management.

Mak –Ban Bulalo Geothermal Plant
Laguna and Batangas, Philippines

The Geothermal plant contains several Ormat Energy Converter (OEC) units for converting geothermal energy into electrical energy. The units are arranged in three separate locations – Bulalo 45 (main plant with 6MW capacity), Bulalo 2 (6MW) and Bulalo 51 (3.73MW). The power plant consists of 6 OEC’s (5 brine – heated dual type air-cooled and one brine – heated single type air-cooled). Each location will be equipped with complete fire fighting equipment and an auxiliary network with compressed air and motive fluid systems.

TCGI provided detailed design covering civil, architectural, structural, sanitary, electrical and mechanical works, broken down in these phases: 1) geotechnical study for all power plants and transmission line routes; 2) structural design of equipment foundation and buildings; and 3) design of all electro-mechanical works within the power plant complex. Construction management services was also provided by TCGI.

ELS General Santos City Power Plant
General Santos, Philippines

Proposed 100MW power plant complex on a 6ha.lot. The complex includes a powerhouse and substation, a tank farm for fuel storage, a facility building, a one-storey office building, a POL pier with 120m approximate length to handle fuel delivery, and other amenities such as guardhouses, peripheral fence and gate, exterior lighting, water supply and fire protection system, road network and parking.

Conceptual and preliminary design, including data gathering and investigation (soil investigation, topographic and hydrographic surveys, geological mapping, geo-resistivity survey, etc.) and budgetary estimates and outline specifications were provided by TCGI.

Semirara Coal Mining Facilities

Civil and structural works, for all facilities, except structural framing of the captive power plant and conveying system; electro-mechanical works including lighting, fire alarm, water supply, air-conditioning, fire protection and ventilation systems; review of plans for (the entire electro-mechanical works and structural framing) the captive power plant, coal conveying lines, including power transmission and distribution systems to conform with the Philippine government standards.

Small Hydropower Project Plant Project
Luzon, Philippines

Study of the technical and economic viability of 10 small hydropower projects selected from those recommended in the pre-feasibility study of small hydro-power projects in luzon.

TCGI provided feasibility study and assistance in the selection process.
